Brace yourselves. We’re about to go back 65 million years.
That’s the tease in this new glimpse of the upcoming extended preview for Jurassic World: Dominion, a first look at the sixth film in the Jurassic franchise. It will play exclusively in IMAX theaters before showings of F9.
In the brief teaser above, we see shots from the first half of that IMAX preview, the part that takes us all the way back to the age of the dinosaurs. These aren’t resurrected clones. They’re the real deal, in their natural time and habitat.
The second half of the preview (not teased here) is reported to highlight a modern day action sequence.
The extended preview of Jurassic World: Dominion will be in IMAX theaters when F9 opens in North America on June 25, 2021. The actual film will open in theaters next summer on June 10, 2022.
