Damn dirty apes, with Woody Harrelson (who’s currently in a “makes every movie he’s in better” phase of his career). I can’t say I’ve been the biggest fan of this series but it has been a very good one, and it’s advanced the quality of realistic digital animation as much as any franchise in Hollywood has. This looks like a thrilling finish to those worthy efforts.
But if you want an even better tease, check out the one below that uses this bit of Charlton Heston voice-over as an eerie counterpart. (He’s reading William Faulkner‘s Nobel Prize winning speech, and it juxtaposes perfectly. Whoever thought to do that is a marketing genius.)
