INDY 5 Super Bowl Spot Dials In Brand New Clips (VIDEO)

First TV commercial for INDIANA JONES AND THE DIAL OF DESTINY teases a fun adventure — and more de-aged Indy in his prime.

The years and the mileage may be showing on Harrison Ford as he broaches the age of 80, but it’s not slowing him down in the least in the first TV commercial for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

The spot, which debuted Super Bowl LVII, features new clips from familiar scenes first shown in the film’s debut trailer, including another de-aged close up from the film’s prologue that takes place in Indy’s prime back in the 1940s.

Ford brings back the rough-hewn charisma that defined Indiana Jones, and he does it with an energy that suggests he’s not too old for this sh**.

Even with the new footage, there’s still no peak at the character played by Antonio Banderas, but the rest of the cast is featured including Mads Mikkelsen as the Nazi villain Doctor Jürgen Voller and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who joins the adventure as Indy’s goddaughter Helena (and she’s just as swashbuckling).

Produced by Steven Spielberg and directed by Ford V Ferrari‘s James Mangold, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny whips into theaters next summer on June 30, 2023.
