Tom Holland is the worst when it comes to keeping Marvel secrets.
Sony Pictures played into his reputation as a notorious leaker (if also a sincerely clumsy and unintentional one) with its title reveal for Spider-Man 3.
Initially on Twitter, Holland and co-stars Jacob Batalon and Zendaya posted titles that were (obviously) fake; you can see those logos in the photo gallery below. These “errors” were soon corrected, though, with the official title reveal in the video above, one that continues the “home” theme of the first two Holland-Spidey subtitles, “Homecoming” and “Far From Home.”
Along with it, Sony also released the first three images from Spider-Man: No Way Home. None of them show Holland suited up as the webslinger, unfortunately. Instead, they focus on Peter Parker teaming with MJ and Ned (Zendaya and Batalon) in what appear to be very Goonie-like adventures.
No teases of other characters or actors were offered yet, either, but it’s worth noting that, in recent interviews, Holland has shot down speculation citing the return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in some form, although he was mum on if this latest adventure would be a live-action Spider Multi-verse (or not).
Time will tell if any of that is actually true or if Holland is simply overcompensating for his leaks in the past. Still in production, Spider-Man: No Way Home is scheduled to hit theaters this holiday season on December 17, 2021.
