Whoa. The most excellent thing is definitely happening: Bill and Ted are back, and you can catch a glimpse of their new adventure in these first look photos.
Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves return as the titular dudes whose time has finally come to save the world. Picking up years later after Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, the Wyld Stallyns are still trying to get that break in the world of rock & roll, committed to the music that, as was prophesied in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, would inspire all people and create a Utopian society.
That moment of truth has finally arrived and with only 80 minutes to do it! There to help them fulfill that destiny are their daughters, Bill’s girl Thea (Samara Weaving) and Ted’s teenager Billie (Brigette Lundy-Paine). Also in the mix: Kristen Schaal, Jillian Bell, Anthony Carrigan, Beck Bennett, Kid Cudi as himself, and Will Sadler once again as Death.
From original series writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, Bill & Ted Face The Music rocks theaters this summer on August 21, 2020.
