Who you gonna call? Your local multiplex — if you want to see the original Ghostbusters back on the big screen, that is.

To celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the comedy classic that became the #1 surprise hit in the Summer of 1984 (topping the hyped Raiders sequel Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom), Fathom Events is hosting a two day event of special screenings, on Sunday October 6 and Thursday October 10. It’s a great opportunity to get slimed one more time before the Ghostbusters sequel (currently in production and directed by Jason Reitman, son of the original’s helmer Ivan Reitman) spooks up some laughs on screens next summer.
