As this latest featurette shows, the comedy-driven Big-style entry from DC chucks angst for awe, and is fueled by a spirit of OMG NO WAY fun.
Starring Zachary Levi in the title role and Jack Dylan Grazer (IT) as his middle school best friend, Shazam! opens on April 5, 2019.
Just based on that teaser, it looks like they’ve done a great job of getting the tone right. I was worried a bit. But this makes it look fun.
This seems genuinely clever and fun, and not just “jokey”.
