I’m hip to this jive.
Sony Pictures has released more images (below) for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood; they follow the initial Pitt-DiCaprio debut photo. It’s the ninth feature-length film from writer/director Quentin Tarantino, and his first without now-shamed (and indicted) producer Harvey Weinstein.
Details of the plot are still vague, other than the official logline: “In 1969 Los Angeles, a former Western star (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double (Brad Pitt) struggle to find success in a Hollywood that they don’t recognize anymore.”
Margot Robbie co-stars as Sharon Tate, the wife of director Roman Polanski who was murdered by disciples of Charles Manson. Tarantino has been coy about to what degree those killings will play a part in the story here.
The all-star cast includes Al Pacino, Lena Dunham, Timothy Olyphant, Bruce Dern, Damian Lewis, Luke Perry, Dakota Fanning, James Marsden, Clifton Collins, Emile Hirsch, Tim Roth, Danny Strong, and Michael Madsen (to name a few).
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood opens on July 26, 2019.
