Leave to Pixar to deliver, in stealth fashion, a reunion that many comedy fans have been longing for. Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, a.k.a. the stars of the long-running sketch comedy series Key & Peele, are the voices of two new characters in Toy Story 4.
One day after the first teaser for the fourth Toy Story adventure, which introduced the new plastic utensil character Forky voiced by Tony Hale (Veep, Arrested Development), Pixar released this clip featuring Ducky and Bunny (Key and Peele, respectively) into the Toy-verse.
Dude. It is so funny.
These characters are so good that, honestly, I’d rather Pixar had just made a new movie starring them. Don’t be surprised if Ducky and Bunny have sequel spinoffs in the future.
Toy Story 4 opens next summer on June 21, 2019.
