Pooh Pops In On Grown-Up CHRISTOPHER ROBIN In First Disney Teaser (VIDEO/POSTER)

Christopher Robin is all grown up and lost his way. Oh bother.

But being in the big city far away from the Hundred Acre Wood won’t keep Winnie the Pooh from tracking him down. The cuddly golden bear shows up to remind his old friend of what’s most important in life: family, not work.

Yep, it’s basically a Hook transplant onto the beloved characters by A.A. Milne, but it looks to be much more heart-warming that last year’s surprisingly somber and depressing Goodbye Christopher Robin.

From director Marc Forster (Finding Neverland), this live-action family film stars Ewan McGregor in the title role, Hayley Atwell as his wife Evelyn, and Bronte Carmichael as their daughter Madeline.

Voice talent is led by Jim Cummings, who’s been Pooh for decades, along with some inspired new choices as the other animal friends: Chris O’Dowd as Tigger, Brad Garrett as Eeyore, Toby Jones as Owl, Nick Mohammed as Piglet, Peter Capaldi as Rabbit, and Sophie Okonedo as Kanga.

Produced by Walt Disney Studios, Christopher Robin opens this summer on August 3, 2018.
