Oklahoma Film Critics Circle Loves LA LA LAND, Plus Surprise Picks (AWARDS 2016)

The OFCC fell for La La Land, too.

Announcing its winners via a Twitter rollout, The Oklahoma Film Critics Circle (disclaimer: I’m a member) began 2017 by revealing its choices for the Best In Film for 2016. And for the first time in its 10 year history, the OFCC also included the group’s runner-up citations in each category.

While the expected suspects made the cut (La La LandManchester by the SeaMoonlight), the Okie org also saw idiosyncratic picks pop up in their Top 10 list, including O.J.: Made In America (#4), Green Room (#8), Kubo and the Two Strings (#9), Sing Street (#10).
