The Rock sings music by the Hamilton guy. Only in the wonderful world of Disney.

In two newly released clips from the upcoming animated adventure Moana, we see how the titular heroine and her sidekick demigod meet. In the first clip, demigod Maui (voice by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) cheerfully clarifies his long list of bona fides, and in the second he sings about his feats of supernatural strength. The song – “You’re Welcome” (a title with playful arrogance) – will have a familiar musical vibe to anyone obsessed with songwriter Lin-Manuel Miranda‘s Tony-winning Hamilton tunes.

Moana opens on November 23, 2016.
