The first eight images of the new Harry Potter prequel have debuted.

Entertainment Weekly posted exclusive photos from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the new Potterverse saga – based on the J.K. Rowling book – set in New York City 70 years before Harry’s adventures.

The screenplay was adapted by Rowling herself, and the film – the first in a planned trilogy – is directed by David Yates, who helmed the last four Potter movies.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them hits theaters a year from now, on November 18, 2016. It stars Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, and Dan Fogler, along with more notable co-stars Colin Farrell, Samantha Morton, and Ezra Miller.
