MAD MAX: FURY ROAD (Movie Review)

Mad Max Fury Road
***1/2 out of ****

My review of Mad Max: Fury Road (click here), for Crosswalk.com, the far-better-than-average summer blockbuster, made with spectacular vision, emotional pathos, and Charlize Theron‘s Furiosa – the best female action hero since Sigourney Weaver‘s Ripley from the Alien saga.

Mad Max: Fury Road is ranked #9 on my Top Ten List for 2015.

An excerpt from my review:

“If the first three (Mad Max movies) were gonzo manifestations of a barren post-apocalyptic landscape, this belated fourth entry is a flat-out insane hellscape – but brilliantly and masterfully so…Fury Road elevates itself with a trait few blockbusters even broach anymore: emotional weight.”
