Crouching Tiger, Hidden Mulan.
The latest behind-the-scenes featurette for Disney’s upcoming live-action remake of Mulan is a spectacle unto itself (watch above), revealing just how epic in scale, scope, and action this is going to be.
It’s so impressive, in fact, that one wonders if director Niki Caro would get even more praise and admiration for what she wrangles and (hopefully) pulls off if this weren’t a “Disney” movie. It’s still too early to say if this will be good, obviously, but it’s definitely going to be huge.
We get the same sense from the latest TV Spot, titled “Powerful” (watch below). It serves as a perfect companion piece to the stunt featurette as it essentially works as the “after” to the featurette’s “before”.
With every new look Disney gives us of this, the more excited I get.
Mulan opens on March 27, 2020.
