So says producer Jerry Bruckheimer about the long-awaited sequel Top Gun: Maverick, and here’s the behind-the-scenes featurette to prove it.

In an age where everyone makes the default assumption that what they’re watching in a blockbuster is a digitally animated, Paramount Pictures releases this look at the real-life aviation stunt work, including from star Tom Cruise.

Real flying. Real G-forces. Just tell those crew guys on the ground sitting directly underneath the low-level flyby that it’s being faked or is some sort of post-production visual effect cheat.
