Joaquin Phoenix is just dancing with the devil in the pale moonlight in this first One Sheet Poster for Joker, the 1980s-set origin story of the iconic Batman villain (pre-Batman, I assume, but not confirmed).

This follows a viral dump of previously published promo materials plus “leaked” set footage and photos (like here, here, here, and here).

Joker — which co-stars Robert De Niro, is co-produced by Martin Scorsese, and directed by Todd Phillips (the Hangover trilogy) — opens this fall on October 4, 2019.
