This is my interview (click here), for The Tulsa Voice, with actor-turned-director Paul Dano (There Will Be Blood, Swiss Army Man, Little Miss Sunshine) about the making of Wildlife, his first film as a writer/director.
Co-written by his partner Zoe Kazan (an actress and writer of her own acclaim, including last year’s The Big Sick, who I also had a chance to speak with), Wildlife is based on the novel about a 1960 small town Montana family in turmoil. It stars Oscar nominees Carey Mulligan and Jake Gyllenhaal.
