On this episode of The Bad and the Beautiful, Charles and I launch into the 2018 Oscar Season with big titles getting Awards buzz, plus another that’s a cinephile’s buzzkill.

We close with a deep dive gushing into A Star Is Born, Bradley Cooper’s directorial debut starring Cooper and Lady Gaga. It has become a touchstone in the cultural zeitgeist. (You can’t go on Twitter without scrolling past a “Take Another Look At You” meme.)
