In his first film since winning the Best Director Academy Award for La La Land, Damien Chazelle tells the riveting story of astronaut Neil Armstrong who became the first man to set foot on the moon.
Chazelle’s La La actor Ryan Gosling stars as Armstrong in the historic adventure that Chazelle has described as a straight-up “mission movie”, not a staid by-the-numbers biopic. The film’s first trailer promises to deliver just that.
Co-starring Claire Foy, Kyle Chandler, and Jason Clarke, executive produced by Steven Spielberg and written by Oscar-winning screenwriter Josh Singer (Spotlight), First Man opens this fall on October 12, 2018.

What timecode(s)?
I’m only just now seeing this (I know…). I’m at :53 in. One of the white suit guys. I was in the press conference scene at 1:02 as well (that was filmed at the same location as the lab in Stranger Things). The scene at 1:15 also has me putting Gosling in the capsule, but they cut that from the final film (a good shot of my back at 1:20 though…).
