It’s hard to believe it’ll be six years by the time this sequel drops, but the belated return to this world will be a welcome one.
The original Wreck-It Ralph was the first non-musical computer-animated feature from Walt Disney Animation to employ the best artistic and emotional virtues of then-new corporate cousin Pixar. Since then, with megahits like Frozen, Disney Studios has also re-established its own brand and voice.
And now, in Wreck-It-Ralph 2, Wreck-It Ralph (voiced by John C. Reilly) and Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) are back to break out of the video game realm and launch into the world wide web (giving Disney infinite new possibilities for product placement).
Co-starring the voices of Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch, Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It-Ralph 2 will smash up multiiplexes over the holidays when it debuts on November 21, 2018.
