Hashtag Dashing Dumbledore.
In the first of two new photos from Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (see below), we get another look at Jude Law as the handsome young wizard Albus Dumbledore.
In the other: another look at Johnny Depp as the titular Gellert Grindelwald, the evil sorcerer that (as Harry Potter mastermind J.K. Rowling has revealed) that Dumbledore, who is gay, had at one time fallen in love with. It’s unknown to what degree that romantic connection will be explored in this film or future ones.
Pictured with Depp’s Gellert is Rosier, a Grindelwald assistant played by Poppy Corby-Tuech.
The Potter-prequel sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, the second chapter in the proposed 5-film series co-stars Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Zoe Kravitz, Callum Turner, and Claudia Kim.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald opens on November 16, 2018.
