Last Jedi promos keep seeing red.
Following the debut of the title poster for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, in which the traditional yellow of the “Star Wars” title font was replaced with crimson, the color red has very much been a part of Episode VIII’s marketing scheme.
That’s more true than ever in these new character posters for the second chapter of the latest Skywalker trilogy.
Focusing on all of the primary leads – each with the top half of their head cut off – the saturated red of the character posters for The Last Jedi seem to suggest that, er, there will be blood (if not spilled then at least a foreshadowing of significant family ties).
Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens on December 15, 2017.
