Practically perfect in every way.

That’s what this first look of Emily Blunt as Mary Poppins – dressed out by Oscar-winning costume designing legend Sandy Powell – hopefully portends.

Set in 1930s Depression era London, with the Michael and Jane now all grown up, Mary Poppins Returns boasts an all-star cast: Lin-Manuel Miranda, Julie Walters, Colin Firth, Ben Whishaw, and Emily Mortimer.

Oh – plus Dick Van Dyke and Meryl Streep.

From director Rob Marshall (Chicago, Into the Woods) and Hairspray songwriters Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, Mary Poppins Returns is still nearly two years away. It opens on December 25th, 2018.
