My review of 20th Century Women, for The Tulsa Voice.

This late-1970s nostalgia trip isn’t “strong enough to clearly define its characters or make its points”, but a superb performance from Annette Bening “imbues the material with a specificity it otherwise lacks” as she “towers over an ensemble stuck in the malaise of its archetypes.”
