Yo Kylo Ren!
Sylvester Stallone has nabbed Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Adam Driver to star in Sly’s adaptation of the memoir “Tough as They Come”. Written by U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills, the best-seller documents his true-life struggle to survive a quadruple amputation as a result of battlefield injuries.
Mills’s father-in-law Craig Buck was right by his side through the recovery process; that relationship and their journey makes up the heart of the story. Driver and Stallone will play the respective roles, and Driver will no doubt draw from his own experiences of having served in the United States Marine Corps.
Stallone plans to write the script; no word yet on who may direct, nor a release date. 20th Century Fox Studios is producing.
