Just let me see this movie already, and hold that Oscar for Emma Stone.

After opening with the melancholy of its previous teasers (here and here), the first full trailer for the new original musical La La Land then finally bursts into life. Along with it, we also get a more specific glimpse into the narrative journey of these two star crossed lovers – Stone and Ryan Gosling – trying to make it as artists in a rather magically-rendered contemporary L.A.

And as the blurb-plastered new poster confirms, La La Land is one of the absolute must-sees of the year.

The new film from director Damien Chazelle (Whiplash), co-starring Academy Award winner J.K. Simmons and singer John Legend, opens in limited release on December 2, 2016 before going wide on December 16.
