It’s just a 60-second ad but it nutshells what we can expect from this sophisticated sci-fi original, packed with possibilities, from Sicario helmer Denis Villeneuve. And by the looks of this ad, Arrival hopes to resonate in a political climate that’s charged by talks of illegal immigration, open borders, and xenophobia.
