My review of The Light Between Oceans, for The Tulsa Voice, an emotional rollercoaster period piece about a couple struggling to start a family, the moral compromises they make, and the unintended consequences.

Based on the best-selling novel, this adaptation is “deeply wrought” and “hewn to feminine sensibilities, but with a more compelling moral hypothetical than the standard sensationalized weeper.”
