Here’s looking at you, Pitt.

Okay, it’s not exactly Casablanca, but between the World War II North African setting, star-crossed romance, and a rebel resistance fighter, Allied has more than a few things in common (at least on a surface level) with that timeless classic.

Starring Brad Pitt and Academy Award-winner Marion Cotillard, Pitt plays a British intelligence officer, Max Vatten, who’s sent on a deadly mission to Casablanca where he meets French Resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour (Cotillard). They fall in love, but the war threatens to tear them apart.

Directed by Academy Award-winning director Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump), whose underseen The Walk from last year still deserves an audience, Allied hopes its debut on November 23, 2016 is the beginning of a beautiful Awards Season run.
