There’s probably no more popular Star Trek character than Mr. Spock, and there’s certainly no more beloved cast member than the man who played him: Leonard Nimoy.
Perhaps the best ambassador the franchise ever had (ironically enough, given how for a time he wanted nothing to do with it, hence his book “I Am Not Spock”), Leonard Nimoy stood as a guardian for one of the most successful franchises in Hollywood history. Now, in Star Trek‘s 50th Anniversary year, Nimoy’s son Adam has produced and directed a documentary about his late father’s life and the role that defined it.
With interviews from Original Cast members as well as other stalwarts from other Star Trek incarnations, For The Love Of Spock looks to be a cinematic love letter to the most logical choice of all.
For The Love Of Spock opens in theaters on September 9, 2016.
