In preparation for this fall’s Harry Potter prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, author (and, for the first time, screenwriter) J.K. Rowling hosts a featurette that introduces us to the new trilogy’s central character, Newt Scamander.

Played by Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne, Newt will guide us back into the wizarding world. This time it will be in the past, pre-The Boy Who Lived, and in America: 1920s New York City.

In this two minute video (below), we learn more about Scamander as well as the new story’s premise (but still free of spoilers). We also catch new glimpses of the film not yet seen in the first two trailers – which can be viewed here and here.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will work its magic on November 18, 2016.
