Even though it’s less than a month away, I wonder how many of you were actually aware that there’s a big budget Tarzan movie hitting theaters nationwide on July 1.

Warner Bros. marketing seems to be dropping the ball given how much money they’ve invested into this project, and how much they need it to be a hit considering how many box office flops that studio’s had as of late (from all-out bombs like last fall’s Pan to this spring’s underwhelming and critically reviled Batman V Superman).

The Legend Of Tarzan is directed by David Yates, the man who helmed the last four Harry Potter movies and is also steering this November’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Potter prequel. This stars Alexander Skarsgard as the Ape Man, 2016 It Girl Margot Robbie as Jane, and 2-time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz as the dastardly Captain Leon Rom. Samuel L. Jackson also brings his swagger to the adventure.
