I really want to like this, but the marketing seems determined to convince me that I won’t.

Of course I can’t blame it all on the advertising strategy (although this trailer’s rock music underscore doesn’t help), as there’s plenty of CGI overkill and Lex Luthor cheesiness to confirm yet again why I’m always leery of what director Zack Snyder‘s got brewing. But hey, that batsuit will always look cool, and at least some of the fight scenes look inventive.
