The Boston Society of Film Critics became the third group of the 2015 Awards season to name their winners – and it should come as no surprise that the lauded Boston-based true life drama Spotlight took their top spot for Best Picture. In addition, the Oscar contender notched two other wins for Best Ensemble Cast and Best Screenplay, as well as a runner-up citation for director Tom McCarthy.
The Los Angeles Film Critics are currently deliberating their choices and will announce later this afternoon.
Here are Boston’s full list of winners, and runners-up.
