***1/2 out of ****

My review of He Named Me Malala, at Crosswalk.com, a documentary about the Nobel Peace Prize winning Pakistani teenage girl who stood up against the Taliban.

He Named Me Malala is an Honorable Mention on my Top Ten List for 2015.

An excerpt from my review:

“It plays less like a documentary and more like a cinematic memoir. Along with her father, Malala is the progressive Muslim voice that the West has been looking for.”
