With just a little over two weeks left before the new Lion King finally debuts, Disney has released this new featurette with cast and director interviews that also reveals new never-before-seen footage from the live action remake.

In addition, Cast-Character portraits were released (see below), each one framing the various voice actors with their CGI counterparts. Sure, that may have this kind of Will Ferrell cheesy throwback energy going on…

…but that’s fine. They’ll do.

The Lion King returns on July 19, 2019.
